Cookie Policies
No Crumbs Left Behind
Last Updated: May 25, 2026
Effective Date: May 25, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how CreatorVerse ("CreatorVerse," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our marketing website, sign in to our creator and brand dashboards, or interact with our APIs (collectively, the "Services").
It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers the broader picture of what data we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights. This document drills into one piece of that puzzle — the small files and signals stored on your device.
At a glance: we use a small set of strictly necessary cookies to keep the Services working, plus opt-in analytics and (where you consent) marketing cookies. We do not sell cookie data to third parties.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They let the site recognise you on subsequent visits, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is used.
Modern websites also use "similar technologies" that work in much the same way: local storage and session storage in your browser, pixels (also called web beacons), software development kits (SDKs) embedded in mobile apps, and device fingerprinting signals. Throughout this Policy, "cookies" refers to all of these.
How We Use Cookies
We use cookies to:
- Keep you signed in across pages and sessions.
- Remember preferences such as language, region, sidebar state, or whether you’ve dismissed a banner.
- Measure performance — how pages load, which features are used, and where errors occur.
- Detect and prevent abuse: automated traffic, scraping, fake engagement, account-takeover attempts, and policy violations.
- Where you’ve given consent, deliver and measure marketing communications.
Categories of Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary
Required for the Services to function. These keep you signed in, hold your session, and protect against fraud. You cannot opt out of these without breaking core functionality — sign-in, secure form submission, fraud detection, and rate limiting depend on them.
Functional
Remember your choices and preferences so you don’t have to re-set them on every visit. Examples: language, region, collapsed sidebars, dismissed onboarding tooltips.
Analytics
Help us understand how the Services are used so we can improve them. Examples: page views, session length, click paths, and feature adoption. Analytics cookies are pseudonymous — they don’t directly identify you. Where required by applicable law, analytics cookies load only after you opt in.
Marketing & targeting
Used to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and, with your consent, to deliver more relevant content on and off CreatorVerse. These cookies load only with your explicit consent and can be revoked at any time.
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on the Services are set by partners we work with. We control which third parties we integrate, and each one is chosen for a specific purpose:
- Analytics providers — tracks usage metrics so we can improve the Services. Pseudonymous and, where the law requires, opt-in only.
- Embedded content — when Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), or similar embeds appear, those platforms may set their own cookies as part of the embed. Their cookies operate under their own privacy policies.
- Payment processors — Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, and similar partners use cookies to detect fraud and manage transaction sessions during checkout.
- Authentication providers — Google, Apple, and Microsoft SSO set cookies during sign-in so you don’t have to re-authenticate on every page.
Each third party operates under its own privacy policy. We list the specific providers and the data each receives in our Privacy Policy.
Cookie Duration
Cookies fall into two categories by lifetime:
- Session cookies are temporary and deleted when you close your browser. We use them to keep you signed in across pages in a single visit.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period — anywhere from a day to a couple of years — before they expire or you clear them. We use these for preferences and analytics.
You can clear all cookies at any time via your browser settings (see below).
Managing Your Cookie Preferences
In-app cookie banner
On your first visit, we show a cookie banner where you can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or pick categories individually. You can change your preferences at any time by re-opening the cookie settings from the footer.
Browser settings
All modern browsers let you block, accept, or clear cookies. The exact path differs by browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the Services — sign-in, secure form submission, and fraud detection all depend on them.
Mobile devices
On iOS and Android, you can reset your advertising identifier and limit ad tracking via device settings:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, then disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track."
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads, then reset or delete the advertising ID.
Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Where the law treats them as a valid opt-out, we honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and your browser’s "Do Not Track" header — both are interpreted as an opt-out request for analytics and marketing cookies. Strictly necessary cookies continue to function regardless, since the Services cannot operate without them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our cookie use, in the technologies available, or in applicable law. Material changes will be notified via the in-app cookie banner or a refreshed prompt on the website. The "Last Updated" date above always shows when the current version took effect.
